Park City gives adventure enthusiasts a ton of great choices for outdoor fun in the summer, a fact that is commonly overlooked due to the area’s deep winter powder. Summer temperatures are perfect for hiking in the foothills or jumping in one of the many nearby lakes and rivers. There are a bunch unique and unexpected adventures that can be found in Park City, which is why this area is becoming known as one of the best all-around destinations for an active lifestyle.

What better outdoor adventure than skydiving in Park City, Utah? Skydive the Wasatch is located just an hour and a half from Park City and has plenty of outdoor activity destinations to stop at on your way there or back.

Directions to Skydive the Wasatch

To get to Skydive the Wasatch from Park City, start by getting on US-189/US-40 E from UT-248 E/Kearns Blvd. Then, around Orem, take the ramp onto I-15 S. Stay on I-15 S until you reach exit 228.

After you take the exit, turn right onto State Rte 41/UT-28 S, and another immediate right onto Old Hwy 91. Then, take the first left onto Country Rd and continue for 1 mile. Finally, turn left onto N Airport Rd, and Skydive the Wasatch will be 0.8 miles up on the right.

    Last Friday 7/15/22 I helped my grandson achieve a bucket list item before his departure for a mission on 7/18/22. SO----my 18 year old grandson had his 75 year old grandfather accompany him on his skydive. IT WAS GREAT!!!! We had Adam and Leon do the jumps with us. It was a tremendous experience. So glad I did it.

    It was amazing! The experience alone is indescribable. But the view you get in Nephi is awe inspiring. And the staff were just fabulous! I never once felt nervous. I will be going back for sure.

    The office staff was efficient and pleasant, and the skydivers—Matt and Bradley—likewise, and experienced. I was awed by their landing skills as I watched my daughter and hubby come down from the sky! So fun and exhilarating in a friendly atmosphere. My family was in good hands. I think they’re hooked to the sky, now—I know they’ll definitely go back!
