Brigham Young University (BYU)

The area around Brigham Young University offers many opportunities for adventure. Explore on-campus activities, or step off-campus for a high-flying adventure. Skydive the Wasatch, Utah's premier tandem skydiving center, is just 40min from BYU.

From hiking the Y to seeing a planetarium show, there’s always something fun to do as a BYU student. On-campus activities are plenty, from bowling to board games, even seeing a dollar movie in the Varsity Theater.

But for students who want to add a little more adventure to their weekend, the best way to do so might just be to step off-campus.

Directions to Skydive the Wasatch

To get to Skydive the Wasatch from BYU, get on I-15 S from N University Ave. Then, follow I-15 S to State Rte 41/UT-28 S in Juab County. After about 30 minutes, take exit 228 from I-15 S.

After you take the exit, turn right onto State Rte 41/UT-28 S, and another immediate right onto Old Hwy 91. Then, take the first left onto Country Rd and continue for 1 mile. Finally, turn left onto N Airport Rd, and Skydive the Wasatch will be 0.8 miles up on the right.

This place was awesome. It felt like family and they made sure we felt comfortable at all times. The view is gorgeous and the jump is just amazing! I got to steer the parachute and landing was softer than I thought it'd be. I highly recommend!

these guys are super chill, the instructors are fantastic and definitely know what they are doing. i felt 100% safe the entire time. our group was met with nothing but hospitality the whole time we were there and they were very accommodating to us in virtually every aspect. (we did have to reschedule a couple times due to inclement weather, but that’s far outside anyone’s control) the overall experience was just fantastic and i hope to jump with these guys more in the future!

Today I crossed off one of my “bucket list” wants! Skydive the Wasatch were professional and made my experience all I expected and more. They were patient, and very knowledgeable as they taught me what to do and what to expect. The men there are very experienced and know what they are doing. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this company to anyone considering a sky dive experience. You will love it!

This was super sick. You've gotta jump sometime. And Leon and Reuben were the best tandem guides ever! Will definitely be going back and doing this again.

I had an amazing time! Normally I am terrified of heights, but it felt like flying up there. I felt safe going up in the plane and jumping out of it! Definitely saving up to go again!
