This Pre-Jump Checklist covers everything you need to know before arrival, from what (not) to eat the night before to what to pack in your bag. Use it to calm the nerves, stay on track, and set yourself up for an unforgettable day.
Tandem Skydiving Pre-Jump Checklist
- Get a full night’s sleep and avoid alcohol
You’ll want to be alert, energized, and ready to soak it all in. - Check your confirmation email.
Make sure you know your check-in time, location, and any waivers you can complete early. - Dress for the weather (and the activity!)
You’ll want comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes you can move around in. Athletic shoes that lace up are a must: no sandals, flip flops, heels, or boots with hooks. Remember that it’s much colder at altitude, so bring layers! - Eat a light, balanced meal
Something that gives you energy, not butterflies. - Hydrate (but don’t overdo it).
Bring a water bottle and snacks, but hold off on chugging a gallon before your jump. - Double-check you have a valid ID
You’ll need a valid, government-issued ID to jump. - Pack something to do in case there’s a wait
Bring a book, some headphones, or a deck of cards in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. - Get excited, and don’t worry if you’re a bit nervous!
This is a big deal, and it’s totally normal to be nervous. Just know that we’ve got you, and what you’re about to do is so incredible, and nerves are just part of the experience!
