A content partnership is a mutually beneficial collaboration between our skydiving dropzone and people with access to an engaged audience of followers. Instead of traditional paid media advertising, we believe in building relationships with individuals who genuinely enjoy and believe in the skydiving experience. By sharing your authentic experiences, you help us showcase the thrill and joy of skydiving, and in return, we offer discounts on jumps.
Types of Content Partnerships
Our Content Partnership Program is designed to be versatile and inclusive, accommodating a variety of content forms. We’re looking for content that not only highlights the excitement of skydiving but also specifically showcases what makes our dropzone special. Here are the types of content that we believe can effectively capture and share the essence of our dropzone experience:
- News segments or features
- Blog posts or printed articles
- Social media posts (Including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- YouTube videos
- Podcast episodes (especially if a written transcript is posted digitally)
Why Discounts Over Payment for Media Exposure?
Our policy is not to pay for media exposure. We believe that the authenticity of voluntary and genuine content has a much more significant impact. Paid promotions can sometimes lose the personal touch and the genuine excitement that comes with a real skydiving experience. Our discount system is designed to ensure that our partners are rewarded for their enthusiasm and efforts while maintaining the integrity and authenticity of their content.
Discount Tiers based on Reach
- 10% Off: For exposure to 5,000 – 9,999 people.
- 20% Off: For exposure to 10,000 – 19,999 people.
- 30% Off: For exposure to 20,000 – 49,999 people.
- 50% Off: For exposure to 50,000 – 99,999 people.
- 75% Off: For exposure to 100,000 – 149,999 people.
- 100% Off (Comped Jump): For exposure to 150,000 or more people.
Determining your Reach
In the context of our Content Partnership Program, ‘reach’ plays a crucial role in determining the extent of influence and impact your content has. Reach is essentially the number of people you are able to impact with your content, and it varies across different types of media. Here’s how we define and measure reach:
- Social Media Reach: This is the number of followers or subscribers you have on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc. For social media, we consider your total audience size as your reach.
- Blog/Website Reach: For blogs or websites, reach is determined by the average number of views or visitors your articles receive. This can be measured through analytics tools that track site traffic.
- YouTube Viewership: For YouTube channels, we look at the average number of views your videos receive, which reflects your video content’s reach.
- Print Media Circulation: For traditional print media contributions, such as magazine articles, reach is determined by the publication’s circulation figures.
- News Story Viewership: For news segments or features, reach is gauged by the viewership or readership numbers of the platform where the story is featured. This could be the average number of viewers for a TV segment or the readership statistics for an online or print news article.
- Podcast Listenership: In the case of podcasts, reach is calculated based on the average number of listeners per episode. This data is usually available from your podcast hosting service. If your podcast transcript gets posted to a website, we’ll also include the average number of views or visitors your transcript pages typically receive.
Partners must provide analytics or insights as proof of their reach (e.g., screenshots from social media insights, blog statistics, etc.) before the content partnership may be approved. |
Content Requirements
Our Content Partnership Program embraces various forms of media, recognizing that each has its unique strengths and audience. Here, we outline specific requirements for different types of content partnerships:
- Authenticity is Key: Content should reflect your true skydiving experience, capturing the excitement and emotion of the moment.
- Inclusivity of Visuals: Each piece of content, regardless of type, should include high-quality images or videos capturing the skydiving experience. We will be happy to provide these once you’ve submitted a footage request form.
- Minimum Word Count: For any written content (not including social media posts), a minimum of 300 words is required to ensure a detailed and engaging narrative.
- Keywords and Hashtags: Include relevant keywords in digital content and use specified hashtags in social media posts to enhance discoverability.
- Tagging and Backlinks: Tag our dropzone in all digital content and include the dropzone name with the provided backlinks to our website.
- Brand Alignment: Content should align with our brand values and messaging, providing a positive and accurate portrayal of the experience.
Validation and Proof of Posting
Ensuring that our partnership program is effective and mutually beneficial requires a clear process for validating content and proving the reach of content created by our partners.
Before any content is made public (with the exception of live news segments or podcasts), we ask that you send a copy of the content to our media team for approval. If the matter is time-sensitive, please let us know beforehand so we can be prepared to respond as quickly as possible. Once approved, a follow-up will be conducted to ensure that the content is posted as per the agreement.
